Modern Vintage Opera is a Connecticut opera company based in the Farmington Valley with exceptional talent and a drive to produce great music. Our mission is to make opera accessible and share our love of this wonderful art form with the Greater Hartford and Western Connecticut community. We pride ourselves on using local artists to showcase how opera’s lush melodies reflect modern stories.
On May 17th, we’ll be performing well-known classics and hidden gems in the gorgeous atmosphere of Lost Acres, with a taster of wine provided by our sponsor Goldberg Larkin. Have an operatic taster of comedy, forbidden love, and rousing choruses along with your sample of Lost Acres’ vintages!
