Deborah Leonard
"My love of nature through observation and academic study has a strong influence on my painting...I find enjoyment, interest, and beauty in my surroundings wherever I may be. I paint whatever holds a spark for me—a meadow full wildflowers, reflections on choppy water, or the rusty pilings of a wharf. My work is varied from abstract to impressionistic according to the way the content will be best expressed."
