Grape Growing

​Lost Acres Vineyard has 5 acres of grape vines planted, approximately 3000 vines.  We have 6 grape varieties planted, all white grapes.  Our vines were planted in 2010, and we had our first harvest in 2011.  We are currently harvesting over 2000 gallons of juice which was used in our Clemons Springs, Chardonnay, Riesling, Wedge White, Salmon Brook Rose and Enders Reserve. 

Wine Making

​Lost Acres Vineyard produces approximately 2000 cases of wine annually.  Along with our white wines and Rose, we produce 3 red wines and an apple wine.  Our wine making takes place in the basement of our winery.  The underground basement provides a stable temperature all year. 

The juice is fermented, heat and cold stabilized and aged on site.  Once the wine is ready, it is bottled and aged in the bottle an addition 2 to 6 months.

​Gardens

​Our gardens ARE beautiful, but more importantly they provide ingredients for our cheese and antipasto plates and the flowers attract birds and beneficial insects that keep down pests.
