Stephanie Rogers became passionate about painting in 2015. As a resident who has lived in Simsbury, Canton and now Barkhamsted, she is drawn to painting the beauty in the Connecticut Valley. She also paints New England and scenic places she has visited, creating landscapes and vistas that “take you there”.
Her paintings are scenes that soothe the soul. They are peaceful “soft-scapes” that gently invite you to pause, relax and to have a moment to reflect and refresh. Warm, yet vibrant colors blend and contrast to offer you a mellow escape from the daily grind.
Working in oil or acrylic she focuses on rich colors with an Impressionistic style.
As an award-winning artist, her works are shown in Galleries in CT as well as representation in Juried Shows throughout the year.

Carol Coutant has loved photography for many years and enjoys a particular affinity for the beauty she finds in nature. Being able to capture both its movement and its stillness is her ever present goal. She finds joy in capturing the magic of nature in action. Having spent many years devoted to her career in healthcare, Carol delights in her creative outlets of painting, photography, textiles, gardening and spending time in her kayak.
The opportunity to share her art with others brings her great pleasure!
